Diamond Dogs Grooming

About Us

At Diamond Dogs Grooming, every pet enjoys compassionate, high-quality care in a calm and sparkling-clean salon environment. Our experienced groomers use safe, natural products and work patiently with each pet, ensuring every visit feels more like a spa day than a chore.

Our Story: A Commitment to Holistic Care

Diamond Dogs Grooming began on February 1, 2019, when passionate, ex-corporate stylist, Rachel, set out to create a calm, holistic grooming experience in Naples.

Her vision quickly resonated with the community, leading to a second location in 2021—soon followed by a third, and, most recently, a fourth in Bonita Springs.

As owner and founder, Rachel joined forces with Krystal, the first hired stylist, and now manager of our Greentree location.

Still guided by the absolute highest standards in cleanliness and compassionate pet handling, Diamond Dogs is proud to help pets of all shapes and sizes find their shine with tender care, all-natural cleaning products, and a team committed to every pet’s comfort.

How long does grooming take?

Each appointment can vary in time depending on the size and breed of the dog being groomed. For small dogs, we ask for 1.5-2.5 hours. Larger dogs and doodles may take 2-4 hours, while giant breeds may take 3+ hours. We will call or text as soon as your dog is ready to be picked up!

Will my dog have to go in a kennel?

All dogs must be safely contained when not under the direct supervision of a staff member. This is to ensure the safety of all pets and groomers and the cleanliness of the salon. Dogs in free-roaming salons may get into fights, soil themselves, get into equipment, or distract the groomers from the dogs on their tables.

We offer express grooming appointments for an additional $20. These are done as the day’s first appointment with no distractions. The groomer does not answer the phone, help other clients, or put your dog in a crate.

We also have playpens, which feel less contained, and there is a large front room at our Strand location for large dogs to wait in (alone or with dogs of the same family only).

How much does grooming cost?

We have a list of services with price estimates on our website. Our base price goes by weight. The base price is the minimum price for your dog’s groom. It then varies based on coat type/condition, style requests, and behavior. These factors may extend service time, which in turn raises the cost. To keep prices lower, make sure your dog is fully combed out before their appointment. View our prices.

Do you express glands/pluck ears?
K

The most current standard on ear plucking is to shave around the ear canal and perform light plucking only if the hair comes out easily, without distressing your pet. Our groomers will never tear out ear hair until the ear is bare. This can cause undue stress on your pet and injury to the delicate ear tissue. If this is a service you desire, it should be done at your vet’s office.

Anal glands are checked on each dog. If they feel full, we may apply gentle pressure externally. If the expression cannot be performed easily or appears to cause pain to your pet, we will immediately stop this care and inform you of your dog’s condition so you can find proper veterinary assistance.
